The Sacrifice of Isaac

Impressions of the Gregorian Meditation on January 15, 2011 in the Amsterdam Obrechtchurch.

The program consisted of great responsories on Abraham and the sacrifice of Isaac, in alternation with appropriate lectures from Koran and hindu tradition.

Mesrur Coşkun & Sandhya Sanjana read the lectures from islamic and hindu tradition respectively. Martin Spaink accompanies Sandhya on tambura. The responsories were sung by Virga en Gregoriana.

Virga is Gemma Huisman, Lucia Alleman, Naoko Takenaka and Miranda Driessen. Gregoriana is Reinier van der Lof, Geert Maessen and Martin Spaink.
