Interesting that young students are the ones that don't seem to care about the environment? Maybe it was just that their opinions were the only ones that seemed 'interesting'? I am no wacko environmentalist; but really, the extra cost toward the water collection system will be made up fairly quickly....water costs money - or don't the students know that? As for the 'green' roof...offseting water runoff and planting a few trees is a great idea...i say, "kudos" to Belmont for being innovative!
