  • It is rather telling that not more people are interested in this, and rather sad.

Of course, it is also rather telling that not many know or care about how the US supported the invasion and occupation of East Timor, or how the US supported the fascist dictatorship in Guatemala for decades. In neither case has the US volunteered restitution, though what it did is similar to that of Nazi Germany's treatment of their Jewish population (among others).

  • I've always been disappointed that pop culture doesn't bring up things such as what you've mentioned, as sort of "guerilla" info. Things are brought out, on rare occasions, such as an episode of Seinfield where Elaine can't resist eating a piece of cake that the Duke and Duchess of Windsor had owned -- and which her boss now possessed. In that show, he states that the Duke & Duchess were "anti-Semitic trash." (which they were). Although some things come out sometimes, it isn't anywhere enough.

  • "whole thing was covered-up by people with lots of power."

    I couldn't put it better, mayorelvis2. Thanks.

Of course, it is still not the sort of thing that the major networks, or even schools, feel inclined to report on. In such a world as this, many of those who comprise the newer generations will not be educated in a comprehensive history of the industry, and will be subject to the usual corporate PR nonsense that either denies or dilutes their criminal behavior. But that is 'the usual.'

  • Why would I want to do that?

  • I saw this film during my industrial safety course.Thank you for posting it.My opinion of this is that companies like Dupont, Union Carbide and BF Goodrich should have been sued for billions but the whole thing was covered-up by people with lots of power.

  • google vinyl and conspiracy
