In this riotously funny court room drama, history's most famous sinner Judas Iscariot is dissected by the forces of good and evil in downtown New York.

Written by Stephen Adly Guirgis (Jesus Hopped the A-Train) this production reunites Olivier award winning director Rupert Goold with the creative team behind 2007's West End hit Macbeth and features Douglas Henshall (Primeevil), Joseph Mawle (BBC's The Passion) Susan Lynch (Beautiful Creatures).

  • I just found this play at the bookstore yesterday, couldn't put it down. What a great story. I hope I get to see it performed live someday.

  • @casket095 Saint mutha'fuckin monica knew the bitch better than all y'all mutha'fuckahs so who you gonna' believe? Some jews who wrote the bible or Monica?! Das right, Monica. Schew......

  • where in the bible does it say god has the greatest love for the least of his creaters?

i do recall jesus spoke about how god cares for the birds and the lillies and then asks, "are you not more important than they?"

  • the beginning reminds me of Baz Lurman's Romeo and Juliet, "Yo Romeo!!!"

  • Looks like a great production of Guigis' work, but I wish the director would not have made a political issue. The issues in this play so far transcend simple politics that you really have to see it to understand. It is a brilliant testiment to Christ's message of love and compassion more than anything.

  • @ dracovolans1: yeah, i think so !!! xD he is great !!! xD one of my favourite actor's !!! xD
