  • Hahhaha u crazy worshippers

  • So if I build a replica of the oval office in my basement, it means I get to be President?! Awesome! Now why didn't I think of that sooner? I guess I should stop campaigning now and start building!

  • coolest thing ever. thats truly freedom when we can dance in public for no reason except that we love Jesus so much and just wanna dance because we're just that happy.

  • ROFL!! They presume a lot, then, don't they? I mean, the LDS church is, what, fifth largest in the US? With about 5 or 6 million members in the US. And only about half of those are active (I'm probably being generous). How in the world do they think they are going to carry this off? WHEN?

I'm more scared of the evangelical crowd, the Pat Robertsons, the Mike Huckabees. LDS members are sort of taught that the Constitution of the USA is a divinely inspired document.

    2 B cont.

  • There are 5 Levels in the D.C. Temple, and only 4 of them, MEMBERS have access TO. The FIFTH level is a replica of the OVAL OFFICE. Mormon theology as stated by YOUNG/SMITH, is that the LDS Faith will have a leader of whom is the President of the United States and President of the LDS faith at the same time.

Sounds out of this world, but is true. My uncle of whom is a current member assisted in the project in the late 70's.

  • I think it had to do with the fact that, at that time, it was the only temple east of the Mississippi river.

    But, what is your answer?

  • Yes Linda, YOU are correct. The D.C. temple is bigger....do you know why?

  • I love this, this is so cool.
