@Mtlv0 yeah in those cases then yes..if the doctor on scene thinks it's dangerous to his future health or career then they will stop the fight if too injured..but most of the time they down..check out Jose Aldo vs Hominick at UFC 129..Aldo destroyed Hominicks face,..he even got a HUGE blood bubble thingy on his forhead..but he still could have won if he had had more takedowns or more hits and was more dominant through the fight...Carwin vs Lesnar..Carwin beat the sheet outa his face..but Les won
