This was one of the first songs I heard when I moved to Canada in 1994, brings back great memories everytime I hear it.

@kodiak1966 - U2 is from Ireland and is a different genre. I think our musicians get plenty of international recognition. While it's true that radio music is empty pop, they still give plenty of airplay to empty Canadian pop like Avril, Simple Plan, Robin Thicke etc. Your rant is misguided.
