Ramayana Rural Tour - Jaymini and Sanju Sahai

The Ramayana is an epic story, a cultural masterpiece which has greatly influenced art and culture in the Indian subcontinent and South East Asia. It recounts the story of the great prince Rama, his banishment to the forest, the abduction of his wife Sita by the powerful demon Ravana, and Rama's rescue of her.

Dancing the Ramayana brings these epic stories to life by the traditional dance of Kathak, performed by accomplished kathak dancer Jaymini Sahai and accompanied by the world renowned and Tabla maestro Shri Sanju Sahai, Roopa Panesar on sitar and Poonam Panesar on vocals.
