  • not much difference there imo

  • mate you havent fitted it correctly, by the looks u havent used a small roller to push the air out, and the use of a hot air gun works amazingly aswel.

+before u post comments back to this, i work at a car audio shop and fit dynamat to loads of cars all the time.

  • sounded like you put 1 layer on there and called it a day!....EPIC FAIL!

  • FAIL.

  • HushMatt is the Best!!!!!

  • no you can get fatmat, what i got for $60 and thats for 25 sq ft

  • Hate to rain on your parade but Fatmat is crap. Damplifier Pro isn't MUCH better than Dynamat Extreme. It's just easier to apply and has thicker aluminum. I doubt there is an audible difference. The cost is very close if you shop around. Dynamat retail is rape haha.

  • i instead used fatmat

  • the silver/black stuff on the walls of the car.

  • SSD is .245 efficiency, DMX is .447 efficiency, layering a second coating increases the material efficiency by the base number divided by half, basically saying, you'd need 3x the amount of SSD to equal the DMX. material.

  • you can buy a set of dynamat for around 60 on ebay

  • Dynamat Extreme is good stuff, but it cost WAY too much. Second Skin's Damplifier Pro is MUCH better for about half the price.
