Learn the secrets of the Ted Nugent Cat Scratch Fever Riff! It's as easy as A, B, C, yet very few people ever learn to play it correctly. Cat Scratch Fever is one of the greatest Rock N Roll songs of all time! Watch the Byrdman's Ted Nugent guitar lesson where the Byrdman breaks down the riff bit by bit.

The Byrdman Steve has spent personal time with Ted Nugent after a great many years of admiration for him. The Byrdman breaks down the riff of Cat Scratch Fever on a real, authentic, signed by Ted Nugent, 1968 Gibson Byrdland Guitar.

I think you may find this to be the best how to play Cat Scratch Fever video available!

We welcome ALL of your input. Just keep it respectable. If there is a Nuge riff you are having trouble with, just let the Byrdman Steve know. He will try to churn up a video on it.

If you would like us to check out your video for comment, just drop the Byrdman a note.

Keep it "Cocked, Locked & Ready To Rock" at all times and remember, it's high time to "Trample The Weak & Hurdle The Dead"!

  • @305catsquid Those slide sounds are a combo of guitar, tone and Ted but about 90% Ted. I have been working on it myself and it's not that difficult but to do it with the grace that he does, is. Ted is the MASTER at playing slide guitar without a slide!

  • @305catsquid Time has been my enemy... I would love to do this stuff all day. I am planning to do more and more YouTube stuff as my days of aspiring to be a rock star are over:) Thanks for the kind comments!!

  • how does he get that amazing sliding sound? it sounds so good.

  • i would like to see you play stranglehold all the way through, with the band or not, it would be awesome either way, and you should do some more covers, cause there sweet.
