According to the BFI Film & TV database the band performed four songs on The Tube of 26 Nov. 1982: Life In A Day, Someone Somewhere In Summertime, New Gold Dream & The American. Thanks for posting this.

This was on UK tv live show the Tube 1982 or 83. I'm sure this was played after show had finished and wasn't aired until a compilation program later.

Cheers Spikemandela. Thanks for that info. It sounds about right to me! It looks like a studio the tube would use. I'd guess it was 1982, maybe early 1983.

It was 1982, i recorded the show at the time, however, this clip was not shown until a tube special in 1983
