Every one of us has that one real love that we will never forget. When i broke up with "Lynn" 30 years ago this song came over the radio just as we hung up with each other that last time. Even though i'm married many years now and "moved on" as best i could, I know i still love the woman i lost so many years ago. Nothing reminds me of that truth better than this song and one other song called "Even Now" by Barry Manilow. It's a one two punch that bleeds my heart every time..........

When I asked for a separation from my first husband it was very traumatic and sad.

I came home after he had collected his belongings and non my pillow was this record. I sat crying while playing this song. That was a long time ago and I still cry. even though I am now happily married to a great guy. It was part of my life and will always be a part of me. Beautifully sad song

Back in the early early 80's my husband & I had done some acid one night hangin ' out with some friends .Not knowing what was on the TV when we got home .We turned it on & wouldn't you know it the Commodores were on live in concert ... I swear it was just as if they were right there in our living room singing for us..It was sooo awesome !! ..But never do the acid trip .. not something you want to do to the brain cells

Lame. Let yer wife go then. She then will find someone who will fulfill her in SO many ways that you did not because your heart was elsewhere. She probably already knows and is having an "affair" of her own. There are affairs of the heart, you know. You are lame. Grow up and get over it, OR let your wife go. What a coward!
