2008 Wesley Guitars Blue Acrylic Strat clone with hot rail bridge Pickup Mod.

First test of recently reassembled Wesley Acrylic Strat.
Yes I know the neck and middle pickups are not humbuckers I got confused again.....
Modded with Boston hotrail plus humbucker.
Plays well for £58 inc P+P . Replacement bridge Humbucker was £16.5 inc P+P. Need neck laquer but
seeing as I occasionally respray cars It was no prob to give it a few coats of 1
pack Acrylic. Whammy bar not usable as it detunes guitar badly....hey it was under £100 ...

How do you reccomend that Boston Strat style humbucker, good for metal? Is it any good clean?

And does it buzz?

A coil tap is a good way of getting a bright clean tone out of any ....humbucker

would a telecaster hot rail work in a strat bridge position?

sure but why make extra holes in the scratch plate? a strat hotrail is same pickup really..

nice vid but they aint humbuckers they are single coils, humbuckers are like two single coils together

Yes I meant to say it has a hot rail humbucker at the bridge and single coils at mid and neck positions....

I bought the Phoenix model but the neck is completely twisted impossible to play properly

do save money and buy a better quality guitar

nice playing. you are actually getting some great filthy blues tones out that thing, and a good thick hard rock tone out of the humbucker. what amp did you use?

hey i have this model havnt modded it at all could you suggest any decent amp settings to use with this guitar??? im playing through a marshall mg 15 series cheers.
