IV's are the easiest as long as you don't have to have them put in your fucking foot. I have had to till I was sleeping then they got it in the hand. How frustrating? I hate going to sleep. Because it's a forced one and if you fight it they use more drugs :@

It was the same way when I had surgery. I was fucking terrified of the IV but the surgery didn't scare me

I had surgery when I was little, and they had to put me out before they hooked me up to the iv and hold me down to take it out D:

@MsGymnast77 just look away, but you will feel a little sting, like a bee sting but its not so bad, i dontated blood a lot and i dont feel a thing when i looked away

I had my sister come in and hold me so that I didn't squirm. They are reluctant to have someone go in with you but if you tell them of your past exp. with security guards and all that jazz, they should agree. I fell your pain...good luck!

Do you have any advice on the fear of needles? One time I had to have surgery, and they wanted to give me an IV. I am scared of needles, so I started fighting everyone. Then they had to bring in 3 security guards to hold me down!
