This is Norman at wellow!! he is a star!! we are doing a shoulder in lesson and working into a contact, but norman, bless him, does struggle to keep it consistent!

Please do not give any nasty comments i am certainly NOT saying that we are perfect and i have spotted many faults in my riding and i have improved since then coz it was a while ago. Norman is very pottery in his trot, for some reason (i dont know what it was exactly but he was out of work for a long time) so he is very bouncy and finds it extremly hard to open up through the shoulders, but he still gives it his all!! =]
ENJOY!! =]

  • your horse looks a little hesitant to stay on the bit...but your riding definately will change that since youre a very quiet, nice rider

  • yea he is i totally agree, i dont ride him anymore since iv gone to college and hes gotten old and stiff and his performance is definataly waning its sad =[ but thanks for lovely comment!!! xx

  • fantastic riding! you suit that Stunning horse extremely well!

  • thanks!! its great to hear positive feedback! xx

  • your way too hard on yourself! you did really well, you have a lovely position and are a sympathetic rider, norman gave you a lovely outline several times and you maintained it well for a bit with out resorting to using your hands, good to see!

  • aaw thanks .. but far from it lol!! =] iv recently been studying into parelli and am learning about riding with fluidity so maybe in years to come itl b better! thanks again =] kt xx

  • That was some great riding there!

You certainly were getting better at the end. I'd love to see you riding again now... I am sure it would be as close to perfect as you can get :)

  • o yer.. i knew that lol it defo works!! thnx agen i appreciate it!!! =] kt xx

  • What I meant: when you want him to go on a circle don't pull on the inside rein but rather take his outer shoulder around the corner with your outside rein and use your inside leg. Leave your outside leg behind the girth so you take his hindlegs on the circle. ;)
