This is the second of a series of clips that demonstrate using Room EQ Wizard to evaluate sonic treatment for my recording space.
Room EQ Wizard is a free program that measures audio impulse response and from that measurement calculates the frequency response of the playback system and room.
The ability to measure room response can help when adding room treatment for recording or playback.
Room EQ Wizard is available for download at www.hometheatershack.com where you can also find an active discussion forum of about the use of REW and about all aspects of home theater. The staff and visitors there are very knowledgeable and helpful.

@89joho87 The measurement microphone isn't calibrated in any way. The dB meter is needed for a reference level.

Hey! great video tutorial! I got one question, Do I need a separate dB -meter? or can I use my meassure microphone to check the room level at 75 dB?

@svdpsy Sorry, I haven't stayed current on REQ, I don't have a sub nor a BFD.
Stay with the guys at the forums, go in small steps, I'm sure they can help you figure it out.

Your video seems very helpful, i was wondering if you could do a step by step to EQ a subwoofer using a BFD1124p as a parametric EQ. I have tried using the forums and simply cannot figure out what i am doing wrong.
