A rare behind the scenes look at the animatronic T-Rex used in Jurassic Park, this thing is awesome, I'm surprised they didn't use more of it on film. ILM is amazing.

  • I wonder what they did with it after the movie. Did Spielberg just take it home lol

  • @theempire00 lol, I actually just read in an interview with one of the effects guys that the foam rubber used only lasts a max of 2 years, and that the robotic 'skeleton' is in some warehouse... however I like your version better.

  • needs more feathers

  • After seeing this in theaters it was raining and I was afraid to look out my bedroom window to see a giant eye looking in.

  • STAN WINSTON IS SOOOO FUCKING GREAT!!!

hes the best!!! really... fuck damned...so REAL

  • so where are these animatronics now? in some warehouse some where?

  • I love the guy simply cleaning the floor while a massive dinosaur is searching over him.

    An amazing piece of art.

  • Back when directors didn't just settle with doing it all CGI and actually cared to have some scenes with something the actors could interact with.
