These definitely aired on ABC. I remember the $250,000 question. It's possible part of the show was pre-empted though.

Even though I've never heard of "stannous" before, I remembered that Sn is the chemical abbreviation for tin.
-
This appears to be from 2001 IIRC. By June 2002 the last ABC episodes of the show were being burned off.
-
It still airs SUnday nights/early Monday mornings from 2-4AM EST. Last night's 3AM airing was from 4/1/2001, four shows before Kevin Olmstead's then record breaking $2.18 million win.

it sucks that millionaire isn't airing on GSN anymore is it?

Thanks for posting this! I am Joe Waters and I had the great pleasure of being a contestant in this episode, with my son, Austin, joining me in the hotseat (& wife and 3 other kids in the audience). Our part of this episode is in the middle (14:00-35:40). This episode aired in primetime on ABC on Father's Day, June 17, 2001, with part two airing the following night. We won $125,000 and got some extra media attention because of my mention of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. AWESOME!!!

@HOLLAJOSE Very cool to hear from you! Might be a little late saying congrats-but... CONGRATS! As you can probably tell, this has always been one of my fav shows and since I never saw this particular episode until earlier last year, I got the chance to be on the edge of my seat again! You two were among my favorite contestants on the show, but what I really liked was that you decided to donate a portion to the JDRF. Diabetes has affected my family as well, and I hope the donation went a long way

I don't care how much they win... 39:20 is the biggest fail on Millionaire I have seen EVER

@TheUsualSuspect1995 Yeah... that's pretty bad... If I uploaded that clip by itself, it would probably break the internet. Still, not everyone had a computer back then
