Before you apply for YouTube Partnership, you have to have a blog or a website. An easy set up that I have used, is from the site Blogger.com. RJared suggests for you to post at least three to four articles to show that your blog is active. Name it something like, YourFirstName.blogger.com or .com or, even name it exactly after your YouTube channel. Changing it to .com does mean that you have to buy that domain name (which can cost you no more that about $10 for a year or so) and it helps your blog/website look more legit.

Making a blog from Blogger is easy an it is free through Blogger. There are already pre-made templates provided for you and a format that you can personalize. It is free unless you want to own the domain name by buying it ( thus changing it from yourname.blogger.com to yourname.com).

When you are applying for YouTube Partnership, make sure your site is already in line because if you so happen to be approved for YouTube Partnership, they are going to immediately request for your sites information so that you can set up an Adsense. RJared suggests that you should first set up your Adsense so that being approved for YouTube Partnership will go along much smoother. Below, I have provided links for you to apply for YouTube Partnership and Adsense. These steps are essential for establishing yourself as a YouTube Partner. Please, make sure to sign up by email (free of charge) for this blog so you can catch the updates about partnership. You don't want to miss out.

  • Say you post a video and it blows up or just a normal one, after you sign up do they back pay you for all the views or just the views you get after you signed up with them?

  • @XxMineYourOwnCraftxX I understand. The thing is though, with Adsense, you can't take any money out until you reach $100. They don't tax you on anything until you reach $100 and start withdrawing money. NY tax is about 8%, so if you make $100, you are only paying $8 for taxes which isn't too bad. It's better than nothing.

  • @YourFragranceGuru what i mean is that i probibly wouldnt even make money, also it would be stupid to pay the taxes because then i would get probably a dollar per month

  • @XxMineYourOwnCraftxX Who doesn't want to make money though?

  • I got my youtube partnership going. I am a silver bug and I do lots of things about bullion and collecting coins. I am trying to get my subscribers up enough so i can do some silver and gold giveaway contests. please check me out if you like it subscribe and lets get this gold and silver party started.

  • is adsense free?

  • what if you dont want to make money? do we still need a Google Adsense to do the YouTube partnership?
