  • fords rock my falcon has done 1.2million kays from new and i have only done brakes and servicing and suspension bushes

  • Yeah but will it pull away from an M3 on the race track like the my Chevy in the video!

  • I have my old 1983 Toyota Corolla (rwd) with a 4AGE- no push rods- 16 valve EFI..the whole enchelada.. 420,000klms on the clock. Doesn't blow any smoke. Original rings etc. As long as it has a battery, it'll start and go. Across the Nullabor Plain in 3 summer days? Yep ,no problem. I was getting 620 klms out of a tank too commuting on the freeways.

These engines with TRD parts sat on 8000rpm at Bathurst 1000 (Klms) and beat many many v8s in the 80's and 90's.

  • Does it produce over 500bhp though, no thought not!

  • I used to know a drag racer over here I think he is still in business Kenny Colman of EDA Engineering they have a dyno etc very knowledgable and he raced a Ford Maverick and had nothing but trouble with Ford units and went over to chevys (installed in the Maverick) and never looked back! Also to shortly hit the circuits is a late mdel Mondeo powered by a Chevy no less, this guy raced a Focus with a Ford V8 and just got fed up with engine blow ups so has now seen sense!

  • that's chevy for you. get a ford

  • I am a died in the wol chevy man, I own a 1970/1 historic race car, the 87 IROC-Z race can and a genuime Penske IROC 2nd gen from the 70's, I am building two race engines att he moment and heve built a few Fords and I know what is better at least between the Sall Block Chevy and the Small Block Ford and trust me its not the Ford, just compare the inlet ports for example Ford are just pony (as in pony and trap, crap even a standard Chevy port is far superior.

  • I have a 1990 Audi boppin around with 430hp. Over 85k on factory engine, and it's still rockin with 22+k since 350 hp. It could also run magic all wheel drift circles around your camaro, with me driving that is.

  • dude i fucking hate all those sayings about ford cuz they are sick shit man. ive had 1980 fords that arnt peices of shit cuz they run fine we have never had one blow up

  • Great CHEVY video!!

  • Wow thats probably about the most retarted thing I haveever heard. No you dont need bigger ports for more air flow...you need smaller ones to make it fire quicker...you need a small bore motor to fire quicker and turn high rpm's, and Im gonna call Bull Shit if yove seen a stock 5.0 beat a stock 396 big block. Stock for stock thats not happening.

  • Wow all you ford guys sound super retarted. Its a race built motor it blew up...probobly because he didnt go for the regular maintenence...my chevy has 1,000,000 a\it still has the original oil, tires, clutch ect ect ect...you guys need to hop off of Fords dick.

Built Ford tough with chevy stuff!!!

  • Used to have one..It was a cool little car but really didn't stay with a V8

  • I'd be surprised if his little TOYota put out 50 horse LOL...Nice Camaro you have there bro.

    I've got a 65 Chevy C-20 Pickup that's still running strong

  • I have a 1991 F-150 Nite with the stock 5.0L V8. Minor bolt on mods, and shift kit in the tranny but creeping up on 270K. I drive her every day and take her out to the track on weekends where she runs 14.6's. Full exhaust, shift kit, headers, and a K&N drop in. She never misses a beat.

  • well hate to to inform u but the truck still has 360k+ , miles and is still running the stock clutch and flywheel its just a simple matter of knowing how to drive

  • I'm sorry, but theres no way that a vehicle of any type with 360K on it is going to have the original clutch. Thats a simple tune up job on any manual transmission car. Just like plugs, plug wires, air filter, and an oil change.
