One of the 3D Characters I made for a Game Mod. I just focused on the Head at the moment, and there's not too much speed sculpting more high detailing for the skin, because I made the base mesh in Maya. Enjoy

  • I totally agree, I would much rather build my base in Maya. I think it gives you much greater control over your edge flow, than with using the ZSphere armature. Even with the new skinning methods in 3.5, I would rather build my base in Maya, and then bring it into ZBrush for detailing and polypainting. Plus I think it gives you a greater level of control when you want to model to reference images

  • I can't say it any better the that. Thank you.

  • I don't understand. If you were to say, model for games or animation, then why would you bother with a base mesh outside of Zbrush? You're just going to have to retopo the whole thing anyway, so why worry about edge-loops?
