A misconception is that anyone can represent you in a Social Security case, like a friend, neighbor, or a minister. This is ill-advised. If you are applying for benefits from Social Security, you need an attorney who knows the law and regulations, all the requirements, and how to handle a hearing with a judge. At Leventhal Sutton & Gornstein, we cross-examine physicians and vocational experts and file lawsuits against Social Security, when necessary. This is your right as a claimant if you are turned down, but you cannot exercise this right unless you have an attorney.

Contact Leventhal Sutton & Gornstein at (215) 357-3300 or (800) 889-6101, or online at www.lsg-disabilitylaw.com.
