yeah, i did. It's all healed up now. hoping and praying that it stays healed up. I should be in the clear now. I've been healed up for the last two months. So the dr said not to bump it for a while. but other than that it is looking pretty good.
I had my surgery about 2 months ago, and it seems to be going good, It's still closing up at the bottom, but the healing has slowed down, but the dr said that was normal, I had a huge chunk about the size of my fist removed from the area, and now it'as all almost healed in except for a small hole about the size of a marble and that is slowly healing in. So it's just amazing to see what it's supposed to look like when you heal right.

Make sure that your wound continues to heal from the inside out (especially at the bottom). This was where I had most of my problems. These late stages of healing are so crucial to long-term healing success. Best wishes!

Ouch!!! I hate having to change dressings. I had a surgery about two years ago, but they sewed me up. Last november it came back and was the size of an egg so they drained it and it looked a little smaller than that. So I have to get the full surgery in about three weeks, which I"m not looking forward to at all. Has yours healed up yet? IF so how long did it take?

It has finally healed up; however, I had some complications along the way. I had a small hole at the bottom of the wound that was connecting to the rest of the wound. Ultimately it took about 2 years to fully heal, and that was after 3 surgeries. Just make sure any small holes/openings are promptly dealt with. Good luck.
