Need For Speed Shift - On 3x Dell 24" monitors. 5760x1200 resolution powered by an ATI 5870 using the new Eyefinity technology.

Just got my Logitech Momo wheel and had to take it for a spin. Video is to show off the setup and Eyefinity technology not my driving skills :D

  • Go play live for speed if you haven't yet. Way more fun than that game your playing there, way more realistic and much older, but better.

  • @aakburns have not hooked up the wheel or done any racing in well over a year but the game I liked most when I was racing was Dirt 2. A few other good games have come out recently as well.

  • can you use a bigger tv instead of 3tv's like u did

  • @Kozmo198 yeah of course you can, but a big TV will still only have the FOV (field of view) as a normal single monitor, everything will just be bigger.

  • @ViciousXUSMC how much does all this cost?

  • @Kozmo198 Hmm not sure the total. The Monitors were the most expensive part but thats because I went with top of the line premium monitors (U24010's) you can get away with TN panel monitors for 1/3 of the cost. I needed the better monitors since I also do video editing and photoshop so quality was more important to me than it should be for a gaming setup.

  • @DarkSoldier1998 Its not bad on flight sims though cause there are actual support beams in the real aircraft usually around the same position the TV edges are

  • @Kozmo198 Or you could get 3 52" TV's and do what he did. But then the screens wouldnt be proportionate to the car you were driving lol.

  • that is 24 ? no way 24 is much more bigger since i have 1 and it takes the almoust whole table

  • @DarkSoldier1998 You tried it?

  • @billni5561 Most likely, I use a 5750 on a resolution of 4320x900 and get 30Fps Minimum on Dirt 2 Maxed out, so you should be fine :)

  • hey im getting a 6850 do you think that would do just fine with playable FPS (atleast 30FPS) on direct x11 games with a resolution of 5760x1080?

  • need for speed is shit, so is having multiple monitors. gotta love those tv edges everywhere.

  • What vga u are using ????
