This performance isn't full of the fanciest dancing "tricks," but I just love this couple's musicality and the way they seem to have fun with each other. (Plus, Angie is great at shaking her hips!) The dancers are Jose Hagevoort and Angie Quiroz, and this clip is from the Preliminary round of the 2003 Mayan World Salsa Competition, Professional Division. (Jose & Angie made it to the final round and finished in 3rd place.)
The song is "Del Puente Pa' Alla" as performed by Luisito Carrion, from the album "Homenaje al Grupo Niche." (Thanks to "fudgemeister" for the specific info!)

I just saw Jose's sister Carmen the other day... I hadn't seen her in years. She still looks good and is a great dancer.

José Hagevoort has really, in force of his style, contributed to the salsa community in a way that few others. No that he's overwhelmingly well-known, but for us who get inspired by different dancers, he's unique in a very good way. I'd like to see more clips by him on Youtube. Maybe I can do my share later.
