Interesting analysis of the video. First of all though, Ash is not the singer but lip syncing, as it is with all indo movies. So it the range of another woman that your hearing. The male character does have alot of charisma. His father was also an actor so he grew up around this atmosphere, which would explain his comfort in front of the camera at such a young age. Just to clear it up.

This video has interesting atmosphere, strangely reminiscent of CATS, and the musical aspect is quite startling in its quality, markedly superior to many American musicals such as Grease. Aishwarya Rai has a tremendous range and the male lead has a degree of charisma, though he looks a little young, to be perfectly honest. He's a good dancer, lots of energy, is expressive, and looks remarkably comfortable in front of a camera.
