Filmmakers Logan and Noah Miller reflect on the transformation from "self-doubt" to confidence in their screenwriting abilities. "We know that if we start it, we can complete it," they say.
-----
When identical twin brothers, Logan and Noah Miller's homeless father died alone in a jail cell, they vowed come hell or high water that their film, Touching Home, would be made as a dedication to their love for him.
Their book, Either You're In or You're In the Way is the amazing story of how -- without a dime to their names nor a single meaningful contact in Hollywood -- they managed to write, produce, act, and direct a feature film in under a year starring four-time Academy Award-nominated actor Ed Harris (and a cast and crew with 11 Academy Awards and 26 nominations).
Their incredible and comic gonzo story is a fast paced, thrill ride of heartbreak and redemption.
Logan and Noah Miller are identical twin brothers. The brothers together made 2008 non-fiction movie about their father, called Touching Home. They also wrote a book together, Either You're in or You're in the Way.
AND I would walk five thousand miles, AND I would walk five thousand more! Badapa. Badapa!

Thank you for posting this video. I found the twins to be very encouraging! Get an outline, start your project, double check your work and get it done!

It's like the Twins from G.I. Joe became screenwriters.

it's funny how the finish each other's phrases. I'm a quarter way through their book, and an aspiring filmmaker myself. Their book is very inspiring

Wow this one bombed, guess I am the only writer that watches these.
I do the same thing, outline, and I will get the book you mentioned. As I have never sold a screen play, or really even written one. :)
