Part two of our sign language class project. This one included the full version of the short film "The Hearing", and the credits. It's a comedic psychological horror about a Deaf man going Hearing. I did most of the directing/editing. Also includes new music by my band, Abrasions.

  • same thing as everyone has said GOOD JOB CAPTIONING HARD TO SEE (ETC ETC ETC) BUT one thing also about the ending introducing names u dont have to say my first name ( Benjamin) my last name (Houston) just touch your heart with the point finger then spell name like (ME) Benjamin Houston more effective and saving time

  • Yeah thanks everyone - and sorry for the bad captions. This movie was the first one I ever edited, so I didn't know what I was doing - ended up compressing the video a few times, and by the time it compressed onto youtube the captions looked terrible. Sometime I'm going to re-edit and release a DVD of this movie with good captions, higher quality video, etc., but that's for another day. Thank you everyone for your kind words and advice.

  • another good job!

  • i love this movie. much better than part 1. I am not deaf but I know some deaf people and i can never understand what they are saying because I dont' know asl i wish i did... i am trying to learn some but don't have much time.

  • Good, but in a real deaf household everyone slams the doors on the microwave or pantry instead of quietly closing them.

  • Yes and perhaps a different color to contrast for easier reading.

  • Good job, guys

  • You guys have the 60's film ambience down to a tee!! It's awesome!;-)

  • Okay so I liked it but the captioning was hard to read, needed to be several sizes larger font size! Cool.

  • The film is nothing but need more action... This guy just in on the table and it nothing up to.
