i hate the deadfall trap its so easy for a animal to dodge the trap and its not likely that would even harm the animal so how would it kill and i prefer a good snare then this piece of crap but no offance i know u did not make the deadfall trap

instead of making it a dead fall ,,,,,use the log as a wieght anf put a noose knot or slipknot on the other end of te rope and replace the trigger so u would catche the birds leg or neck ...would tht work ... plz reply cuz i might decide to do something like tht so please gimme ur opinion

it would be accurate if it was on a trail or you put something to channel the animal under the log

yeah its better to use a bigger log or rock or even have a longer log hanging flat ways but the mechanism will have to be a bit stronger ,i was just being lazy
