Hi! I'm back on youtube - I experienced a few issues with my youtube account, but GOD is still GOOD!!! This video is a tutorial on how to incorporate runs and scales to add to your musical performance. Aren't you tired of watching musicians show off and never show you how it's REALLY done? Aren't you tired of learning new tricks and not knowing how to create your own tricks and develop your own unique style?

On December 9, 2007 I will be joining the Wheatworks (www.showmethat.com) family. I will demonstrate everything that you see on youtube PLUS the real secrets to how I come up with these techniques!!! It is my desire that you become a musical fisherman, and not someone who just learns and duplicates different piano tricks from me... GOD wants YOU to sound like YOU!!! In my new DVD, available from Wheatworks (showmethat.com), I will give you the tools to assist you in CREATING things that have not been heard before!!!

  • It's wonderful to see you teach, but

neither sheets, no midi files, nor screen representation of keys.

  • wow that was great

  • Awesome video.I got to work on that...!

  • i heard the giant Steps walkdown you slid in at :47, well played sir, well played!

  • Keep teaching bro. Love what you are doing.

  • at 1:13..... Gbmaj9/Bb = a major 9 chord with the 3rd in the bass, then take it down a perfect 4th toDbmajor9 with F in the bass. Now walk it up in the sequence of a Mixolydian but stop on G then move this same chord backward by reversing the sequence. Neat trick. Just don't over use it in every song where there is a minor chord. Some call it a root position minor 7th chord with a b13.

  • You started off with advance harmonic chord progressions with extended 9ths and end with #11 borrowed from the parallel Lydian mode on the ending chord before you used altered dominant chords with b13 and other additives and I guess you called this basic. LOL.. You can't get no more advance than that unless you do bitonal keys or 12 tones mode. LOL.. I like it too but don't pretend this is basics.

  • wow man thanx KC very helpful!!!!

  • This is GREAT ! i cant stop watching it !

did you like get some type of schooling to get this good or its just stuff you picked up ?
