"King Size" Coca-Cola was coke in a larger bottle. This commercial has a catchy jingle. I dislike the female singer but overall this is a good commercial.

  • I need a Coke now. Diet Cherry, that is! In a can :)

  • 1961 was a pivotal year for Coke- they began co-sponsoring "THE ADVENTURES OF OZZIE & HARRET", and faced a challenge from archrival Pepsi-Cola (who had recently begun their "For Those Who Think Young" campaign, featuring vocalist Joanie Sommers). Pepsi offered "twelve full ounces", compared to Coke's traditional 10 ounce bottle. Now, Coke finally answered their "challenge" with a "King Size" bottle- and got singers like Anita Bryant, The Brothers Four and the McGuire Sisters to pitch it...
