someday i do plan on owning a E24 M6 , but i'm focusing on getting myself my first M car for mostly track use , preferably a E36 M3 coupe.

of course the E24 being a very well maintained example , it holds its ground very well against the other gentleman's e63 650i. now when it comes to performance , the 650i hands down is the better obviously. i just rather older BMWs . in fact i almost sold my 99' e36 328i convertible so i could buy myself a e24 M6 that needed a little TLC. but i decided not too because not only is the e36 my first BMW it's also my 21st birthday gift from my parents so i value that car alot.

@BiteDoctor No , but i have driven my far share of E63 6series both the M6 and 650i. I never said the current 6series is bad i just stated what I think of the two. here's a good example, i have two neighbors who own 6ers , one gentleman owns a e63 650i coupe ( LCI ) in black (gorgeous car) and the other guy owns a e24 635CSi in black also . that e24 just get's me everytime i can't help but to stare at it , it creates some sort of a unique emotion that isnt felt when i look at the e63

If this guy actually ran the engine more than he runs his mouth, this video would be way more interesting. enough with the exemplary, exquisite, masterful, adjectives already. nice example of an e24 though.

@Terre328 Im sorry, did you ever own a E63 6er to actually know anything about its emotion, style or status? I own both the E24 and E63 M6 and I can tell you they are both awesome in their own way.

The E24s are my favorite series of BMW, today's 6er lacks the emotion , style and status the E24s had.

The M635 CSi is truly a dream car of mine.
