Remember the endorsement courtship and nasty split between pastors and politicians during the primaries?

Now, the Religious Right is organizing more pastors to endorse more politicians from the pulpit!

Pulpit Politics: The Race for Pastor-in-Chief, provides a fresh reminder of why religion and partisan politics are best left kept a long-distance relationship, and previews what's to come if clergy are further encouraged to compromise their integrity for partisan politics.

America's pulpits are for prayer, not partisan politics. Let's keep our pulpits free from the political machinery we've already seen devastate clergy and sidetrack the campaigns in this election.

  • what a powerful video, whoever's putting these on at the Interfaith Alliance know's what they're doing!

  • The last time religion and politics mixed...people were hung/burned/tortured-

religion should be a private matter and not flaunted or promoted in politics.

    Good Job Interfaith Alliance!

  • The voting that do you will ultimately have consequences in the kingdom come and above all the judgement seat of christ so remember people that even your voting is a choice so when you stand before God you will answer for your votes

  • George Michael...And do you not understand the symbolism of the music. As both a professional music teacher and religion/government separator, I endorse "Faith" by George Michael as an excellent satire on the subject.

  • Right On the money Video!

  • That's a solid response...but...um...why the music? It's a serious and significant issue, and we're listening to Wham? That was Wham, wasn't it? I get my 80s pop so muddled...

  • Amen

  • I am a Christian and go to church to hear about God not About the government.

The day a so called preacher starts preaching his or her politics to me, I will stand and testify for who I am for and thus goes the order of the church if it does not align with my politics. Church is no place for politics.

    Enough said !
