"Jan Peerce: The Golden Jubilee" is a documentary celebrating Jan Peerce's 50 year career in music. It must be from somewhere between 1980-1982, making Peerce aged 76-78!
So great to see this! And I don't think I've ever seen Martin Bookspan before, but that voice is unmistakeable. I remember when he retired from the radio broadcasts-rather a sad day, bittersweet. Thanks for posting this. Is it something available on a DVD somewhere? Precisely the type of thing Kultur or VAI would've released back in the day. I have documentaries on Toscanini, Milstein, Horzowski, as well as 8 of the 10 Toscanini NBC TV concerts-all on Laserdisc. Ah yes, the last word in video...
