Youtuber who went under various names, one of which was tony48219 first killed a college girl (Asia McGowan) before killing himself.

Tonys video were generally disturbingly gregarious, and this was probably a factor in youtube banning him several times.

Many, including myself, made video critical of Tonys outspoken views.
Did we do wrong?
Were we to blame for his death and that of Asia McGowan?
Are there any lessons that can be learned for the future conduct of the community?
This video attempts to address some of these issues.

  • I suppose you would want to believe that those who seek to educate and make you think for yourself are going to hell b/c its so much easier to be led and just believe what is fed to you.

  • Excellent video! Too often do people use the "hurt feelings" excuse when their words are challenged.

  • 1:43 Statists will take any problem no matter how convoluted and cite government intervention as the solution to the problem. See, I can make vague statements that simply appeal to the middle ground and prove nothing too.

  • @scotttebben I think that Christianity is not a cause but a symptom. People prone to depression tend to try and cling to a religion to help give life meaning. This is not inherently a bad thing because I know someone who was on the verge of suicide, but then went to church and their life improved greatly. I also know that religion can keep some people depressed and in poverty due to their belief that their suffering is just a test from God, so they do nothing to improve it.

  • Damn those pesky peppered moths.

It's easy to write religious people off as "simple-minded," "gullible" and "intellectually bankrupt," but I can see how faith becomes an easy sell to someone without any avenues leading towards the betterment of their lot in life.

  • @KingmanIII

I agree with you most adamantly. Faith is merely a unwarranted respectful name for wishful thinking. Faith is a false hope for the simple minded and gullible. Faith is a cop-out. It is intellectual bankruptcy. If the only way you can accept an assertion is by faith, then you are conceding that it can't be taken on its own merits.

  • @scotttebben

Yes, people with nothing to live for tend to cling to promises of eternal paradise.

  • Kent Hovind is a SCUMBALL.

  • That boy should lay off the pies.

  • Also, one of the guys in the god castle is shooting his own castle (02:15)

  • How about you pay attention to your fucking driving, arsehole.
