  • You said the face first but did the sanitary first. Saw you changed blades.

Can you tell me the sizes in inches? 15, 10, & 40? My attachments are by inch size. Didn't say what size blade used for the top of the & top sides. Do you cut the beard or leave it one length? I'll watch your other videos to see if you did in them. Not criticizing, just asking please.

When I went to inside the paws, he yelped like I cut him, but didn't. Do you actually go between the pads?

    Thank you!!!

  • @ladybug1951 Not sure what you mean by your sizes being in inches... do you have the metal detattchable blades or the plastic snap on comb attatchments? I use the same blade on his head and behind his ears as I did on his body... hope that helps you on that question. I do go between the pads but you have to be careful and gentle. Some dogs wont' tolerate it or just don't like it... I always use a 40 blade for the paw pads ONLY.

  • How do you "tip" the ears on the regular cut for a yorkie? Thanks.

  • @mykeee I use a 40 blade and I shave the last half inch or so of the tip of the ear. I will be posting a video on it soon so just keep checking back. ;)

  • you make this look so easy....what is the make of clippers you are using....i got masterclip with the changeable blades but it dosent seem to cut ,it's as if their coat is to thick and the blade sticks..please help love the video and decided to try myself i have three yorkies and reno is the double of my max ..thanks again

  • @isabell607 HI there and Thanks. It really is easy if you get the right equipment, I've never heard of masterclip so that is probably not a good thing LOL :) I use Andis clippers, check out my video "clippers and blades" it should help you. ;)

  • My Andis clippers are by inch sizes of what length the hair will be when use them. I like the length on his head. When you cut the top of his head, the size comb you used will leave the hair how long in inches.

    Thanks

  • Which clipper set are you using? Please let me know. =)

    Thank you.

  • thx this helped me alot

  • You're video's are fantastic - i qualified as a groomer early this year but had forgotten alot, so the video's have been a great help. Do you have any grooming a bicon or a puppy/teddy clip for a shih-tzu?

Also please could you tell me what make and size straight and curved shears you use?

And again, thank you so much for the help you have given in you're video's!!!

  • Have you got an instructional video we can buy with all of it!! I would love to buy a copy!

  • wow... I really appreciate this! Been looking for something to help with my two yorkies. They are thinner, and longer, but this is so helpful for the face and body. Best I have seen so far! Thanks! More please!

  • Do you use #4 for the body?

  • @ladybug1951 What I meant was how much hair if left with the numberd blade you use. But I figured it out with mine. I'm glad hair grows fast on him. =] Still don't have it all down. But I'm learning. How many teeth are in your thinning shears? I think mine have too much of a space between the teeth. Not real smooth look.
