OMG! That is amazing! How old is this lady now? She has to be in her early-to-mid 60s taking into account the age of all the other Motown ladies of the same era...and yet vocally she sounds as good now as she did on the various recordings she did at Motown. Thanks a million for posting such a gem!
Saw her live back in 60's in Motortown Revue at Detroit's FOX THEATRE. She came on stage singing "Do Right Baby Do Right." I still have her only MOTOWN album "Soul Sounds." Love it. Every song on it is a gem, especially "Loves Gone Bad, "I Want To Go Back There Again"(a masterpiece, could have hit top of charts if given more airplay),and " Do Right."Timeless. Good to see her perform again.
This was a great gig - two hours of Motown classics and the long-awaited appearance of the brilliant Chris Clark.
For anyone there I was the guy who hollered 'The Magic of Motown' over the mic when Jack Ashford passed it around at the final encore. What an evening!
She was fucking brilliant!!
