You're welcome. You have not insulted me Allen; you have been a gentleman. You may call me Rhyddid. It's me nickname and means 'freedom' in Welsh.

Still implies that Jesus was punished for something he didnt do. One of the reasons why I'm not a Christian is I have problems with the 'salvation' plan. My religion is Asatru and we dont believe in salvation nor original sin. We believe in personal responsibility for actions. You say God is capable of love, but I say God doesn't have human attributes. I see God as pure light/energy, all powerful, omnipresent, beyond and above our understanding. I see God thru Nature, not in book.

It's great you believe in personal responsibility, because that is the truth of the matter - we will be held personally responsible on Judgment Day for our words, thoughts and actions. Jesus was murdered because our deeds were evil and God still loved us. Hundreds of years before His birth it was prophesied in Isaiah 53, "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed."

I dont believe in 'original sin'. I believe in personal responsibility. You do wrong things, you'll suffer the consequences. I believe Jesus was murdered because the people in charge feared him.

....That is how horrible and twisted our sins truly are. God is holy, He's not like us. Our sins earn us Hell, which is why Jesus dying on the cross to take the punishment for our sins shows the depth of God's love for us. You can logically know Jesus is the true savior by a study of the messianic prophecies that were made hundreds of years before His birth. But it's only through choosing to follow that we can be forgiven.

You can tell how bad a crime is by the size of the punishment. If you open a newspaper and see a large article that says a man got the death sentence but it doesn't list the crime you know it must have been something horrible to deserve such a punishment. In the same way if you find a small note about someone getting a $20 fine but it also doesn't list the crime you know it was something petty. The Bible says all liars will have their place in the Lake of Fire (Rev. 21:8)....
I would like to thank you for speaking with me in a polite manner on this subject. I hope I have not insulted you with me questions and statements. If you wish to talk further, you are free to email me.

Definitely, I've enjoyed talk with you. No, you have not been insulting in any possible way. But thank you for your concern for my feelings. I hope I haven't insulted you either. :) I would love to talk more, I'll definitely email you. My name is Allen by the way.

I dont buy the salvation thing, I mean, why would God have an innocent man suffer and die for guilty people? Doesnt sound like justice to me. How could Jesus die for me sins which didnt exist at the time? How could my actions affect God, the Creator of the Universe?

Love. Imagine you were found guilty of a serious crime and were ordered to either pay a $20,000 fine or go to prison, but you didn't have the money. Just when you were about to be hauled away someone steps in and pay your fine, it both upholds justice and shows their love for you. That's what God did in Jesus Christ. God is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end: He knew you would break His holy Law and in love paid your fine 2,000 years ago.
