look, i dont know what a sunni or a shia is, but all i know is that real muslims love the ahle bait and the sahaba equally, and not just remember them for 10 days in muharam. a real muslim lives his life, 24/7, like the way of rasulallah SAW and his companions, allah bless them all, and forgive their shortcomings

@mostpowerful SAlam brother, I see where you are coming from, you are right we do have to immulate the Prophet (s) and his family & companions all yr long. I just want to remind you that the Prophet (s) also said only one breed of Muslims will enter heaven after they seperate into 73 or so sects. I strongly suggest that you read sahih bukhari & sahih Muslim & the Qur'an and many ahadiths about the Purity of Ahlel-Bayt & their relation to the Prophet (s) that's it.

I asked Allah swt to guide me and alhamdoulilah He did, I would suggest the same to you. i am a shia and i am quite worried when shias think THEY can insult other sect's pious figures but they want them to respect our beliefs.

@mostpowerful brother, you can't love the Ahl al bait (AS) and the companions of the prophet at the same time, life is not that easy. Please read into history inshallah you'll be able to come to a good conclusions

p.s. the word 'shia' is not a made up word. It's used for 'shia of Ahl al bait' which just means party or helpers of the Ahl al bait (AS). :)
