Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of folks. :) Still I would have been asking how long they are allowed to keep someone in cuffs? I also reckon they were probably very humbled by their own human error in locking themselves out of their paddy wagon. Brings them closer to the real world ie Human real world. They ain't so invincible after all. :))))

Cops are stupid. Period. If they were intelligent, they wouldn't be cops, they would be useful like paramedics. Cops aren't brave. Period. If they were, they would be useful like firefighters. Cops are stupid bullies. Period.

what a way to make police hate you all more. cmon. dont you guys know anything? these people hate to be made a fool of. and there you are. we have to be a step ahead of the game people! occupy everything!
They all brought a dollar for the protest. When they got out, the police gave each of them their dollar back... on a Bank of America debit card!

A large successful corporation was given a sweet deal on prime public real estate in exchange for a promise to bring jobs & tax revenue here. We heard that corp. broke its promise. TWICE.
Our city can buy that property back from the corp. for $1 and allow someone else to develop it, but our city leaders haven't done that.
This could provide jobs and raise tax revenue. We think that public property should be used for the benefit of the public. TODAY, NOT TOMORROW.

Wish I could play it at 2x speed and dub some Benny Hill music in. But seriously, we are very fortunate. The police in Oakland, Denver, Atlanta, St. Louis and other places weren't so nice. On this day in Springfield, the police were non-aggressive, polite and respectful and did their job without riot gear, mace, rubber bullets, and tear gas. Maybe police in other cities can learn from this... both the tactics AND the keys!
