I had the worst experience with banfield.

My wife and I took our puppy to banfield store # 1281 in Fort Worth to have the wisdom panel done (DNA test) so we can find out what kind of puppy dog we have.

May 7th we had the blood drawn and they said 3-4 weeks, 4 weeks later they said my bad its 6-8 weeks. 8 weeks into it they said they cant find the blood sample but they think they sent it. They promised to keep us informed as they looked into it but never called us once

I never make excuses for others. Here's my take.....contact Wisdom Panel directly at wisdompanel com and do your OWN test.  A blood sample is not required although you can get one for wisdom panel tests if you choose. The main reason for the test is so you and your vet can have a better understanding of the 'history' of your pet so as to adjust nutrition, training, and future medical needs. If your own vet has a problem even doing the test....you may want to look for a new vet?!!!

As of this moment I have no issue with Banfield though I may have an issue with how they conduct this particular test which is not their own. They may be a good vet though a poor test taker for someone else's test?

Great clinic! All my pets are on a wellness plan and it has saved me tons of money! The Pineville, NC location even has a facebook page where they post pet pictures and post weekly advice for pet owners!

Banfield is no different then any other pet hospital. The nurses, vets and CSC's care a great deal for the animals and to say otherwise is insulting. I have seen worse care at private facilities that jack up prices. Banfield : 48.95 Private: 60 and up. Banfield does what it can just like any other hospital. They have good/they have bad... but saying ALL vets/nurses don't care is a blanket statement and simply not true. NO ONE works 60+ hours to NOT care.
