Tatsunoko vs capcom :: Grab ranges

Something I was testing today there is some nice data you will be surprised about. The yellow bar reps where their feet are so post to meet or cross. You'll for some characters that doesn't apply. Reason for smaller characters having big range is do their collision box if the this box was scaled to their actual height and width they would be to hard to hit and that wouldn't be fair would it :D.
The game is set the if to collision boxes are crossing and the 6C input is pressed it would do a grab. How I know this well if you known anything about program games or fighting game engines its kind of simple.
