@CEMILIOB He's lip synching to the 1963 studio recording he did with Price, Merrill and Freni. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a true live recording of Corelli doing the role. He lip synchs in the movie as well. It's truly a shame that I can't find him singing it live. Don Jose was actually Corelli's favorite role he ever performed.

I believe Corelli is lip-synching in this clip as neither his breathing nor mouthing really matches the dynamics of his vocal track. Does anyone have this masterful talent singing this aria live?

Carmen looks as if she has lost control of the situation here, no longer the dominant force in the room. I don't see how any woman could with Corelli's singing. I'd be a little dumbfounded myself...and kinda turned on. He was so magnificent.
