The directors & Donald Ian Rankine

Two great tunes by the late Andrew Rankine. The directors & Donald Ian Rankine a tune heard every night at accordion club meetings, and probably one of the most requested.
The pictures are all of Loch Duich & Eilean Donan castle. My Granny lived on the opposite side of the water and I often wished I could retire there.
It's a beautiful part of the country and the people are friendly & relaxed.
I played my first & last gigs in that area, and that's also where myself & my wife did our first gig as a duo as well.
Such fond memories of the place throughout childhood where I spent all my holidays, and also as an adult. No matter how often I had to drive there I never tired of the magnificent scenery
