@tin96a I ended up getting an American Bulldog, but may still get an Alapaha as well. I love my bulldogs. See my channel for a couple of clips of Gracie at 14 weeks. I'll upload more soon.

I saw her walking up so I put big D on his leash. I was hesitant to see his reaction lol. I should of known by his stance that he was going to react the way he did.... He waited for the dog to get within distance....Then charged into the dog with a shoulder/headbutt and knocked the choc lab back....its flipped backwards twice lol. So the moral of the story is to just make sure they are used to having other dogs around and get them used to other dogs at an early age.

I take my alapaha to the park and let him run off his leash. He doesnt bother with other dogs and stays close to me. He has never had any obedience training either. But wow they got explosive power and are amazing protective guard dogs at the same time. But one incident happened at the park where a girl walked up to me with her chocolate lab. I had never had my dog Diesel around any other dogs since he was about 10 weeks old.

How is he around friends. That is, if you leave the room with friends over, can he be trusted? I'm considering an Alapaha from CRK.

He will always stay close to me whenever he s off leash, but I trust him 100 percent with friends and my 14 month old baby girl.great breed I highly recomend one.Would love to see him or her up on you tube if you get one.
