WASHINGTON, May 28, 2009 -- "The Little Ambassador" is a beautiful kindergarten little girl who in her short life has met with Former President Bush, Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and the Queen Mother of Swaziland and the current Ambassadors to the USA from Zambia, Lesotho, Madagascar and Germany, has a life-threatening blood disorder which could be fatal if it continues to go untreated. A prayer vigil, sponsored by Greg Wims, The President of The Victims Rights Foundation (www.VictimsRightsFoundation.org) and the Ariana-Leilani Children's Foundation (www.Ariana-LeilaniFoundation.org), was held on May 28, 2009 in front of the offices of the Washington DC Child and Family Service Agency (CFSA) of the District of Columbia seeking that they take seriously and imediate action to have the little Ambassador properly evaluated and treated. The concerns about the Little Ambassador's situation are documented by numerous medical and psychological experts have reported verbally and with reports that this little girl's life is in grave danger.

The troubled CFSA is under court supervision due to its past failures.

Dozens of supporters marched through downtown Washington DC to the offices of CFSA singing "We shall overcome" Friends and supporters of this wonderful little girl and her mother prayed for her life-saving rescue and protection, and demonstrate that the public is watching what they called the inaction and callous indifference of the troubled CFSA Washington, DC. The asked: How many more children must die, for this system to be accountable? Not one more!

The large group prayed that the CFSA and other authorities to serve the public's trust and take the necessary steps to save this little girl's life. It also urged adoptiong of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child by the United States which continues to stand alone with Somalia as the only countries of the world who have not adopted this important set of rights for kids, such as Ariana-Leilani of Germany and Madison of Panama.

  • Unfortunately the UN CRC will undermine the freedom to care for children in the US in ways we know are best. By removing the parents' rights to raise them.

  • Not at all...the CRC does not take away a parent's right to raise their own children. This is a myth. The state laws are implemented in a way that the children are treated property. They are not property, and they should not be treated as that.

  • Very touching...I hope the Children's Rights treaty passes...the US should sign it and stop being the only country like Somalia who has not..and I hope these children get the help they need. Bless you all.
