Thank you for posting this clip. Forget tearing up, this scene had me crying like a baby. This is one of my favorite movies of all time. My wife has never seen it. I'm sure she'll enjoy it due to the fact that we are in a mixed marriage.

I saw it in the theater when I was maybe 5. Memorized pretty much every song but can't remember much of the movie. Might have to buy it and watch it again. ND was rockin back then.

I lost my Grandmother and my Mother last year and no longer have a Synagogue to attend. This video really helped to at least give me some comfort during this hard time. I love this video and all the music with it. La Shana Tova

I love this movie. God shows his great love through the relationship between father and son. Forgiveness is a beautiful thing.

You sat shiva for your daughter? I hope that made you feel proud and your rabbi happy.

The only person you spited is yourself, I hope, and I hope your daughter is a bigger woman than you are, happy as she is without the yoke of Jewish guilt dogging every aspect of her life.

If you have to wait for the Almighty to reconcile with your daughter, you are a nebbish.

Do it before the Almighty intervenes. Show some rakhmones.
