Did the cars have the same tyres on? If not, this test isn't really much worth - as the tyres has a large effect on the breaking.

@Lasse3333 old comment, but the difference is stock vs stock. If you have to buy rims for the bmw to match a competitor's tire size, the manufacturer lost.
