here is a better understanding, before the wedding begins, the Grooms party sings this song saying eat and drink we go get the Nifi (bride) and if they don't give her to us we will go to war...this is way older than 1940 no idea why the author of this video put it was written by the paou halkias...Petro lukas was around during ww2, his father Pericles lived to be a hundred died late eigty early 90's...so what papou he is taking about i have no idea..but still a very old wedding song...

Maybe when they say Nifi (bride since u cant understand greek) ya na paroume, antes kai an them mas tin thousoune u fucking ass clown...keep your mouth shut unless u wanna get schooled again, I have only been to a ton of epirotika wedding and they sing this on the way to the nifis house...I been teaching epirotik dance for 20 years...oh there is a famous Tassou Halkias record from the 60-70's Called Epritoki weddings and this song is front and center...go back in your hole dumbass...
