Continuing with the theme of Sonic music in SSE, here's a classic Sonic music from the classic Sonic game: Sonic and Knuckles. The Flying Battery Zone, both versions. Not only it's very suited for the Halberd, the gameplay is now like the good o'classic Sonic games...

  • but just slightly) I didn't really hate anything about SSE except for one thing, in co-op player 2 costs player 1one of their lives if they die, which makes co-op harder than single player, I mean I hated that player 2 should never cost the 1st player his life, I mean Tails never cost Sonic one of his lives in the Sonic and Tails co-op in the old Sonic games, it should have been more like that, I mean its annoying when you're playing with someone who isn't that good and they keep *2cont.*

  • all the characters teaming up to take down Tabuu My beta told Me everyone in a story teaming up to take down an all powerful big bad is one of the things that is the epitome of all things cliche but I didn't really hate anything about the SSE (there were things that annoyed Me about it though, but like you I like going back as Sonic and replaying the levels I just wished there were more that suited his speed and I noticed he moves slightly slower in SSE than other modes but *2bcont.*

  • Same goes for Game & Watch (but then again him and R.O.B. had no music, and I'm not sure how many noticed this but Mr. Game & Watch didn't even get the name introduction in the story (when it pauses the story and you hear a thump like sound effect with the character's name in the darkened area). Not to mention they did a lot of cliche things in the story (I should know My beta reader tells Me about the things in the story I write that are cliche) like for example all the *2bcont.*

    There was also no R.O.B music either but then again he only had one. =p

  • Sorry I just like being thorough when commenting, anyways yeah I do know that there was no Wario music in SSE too, which is why I listed Sonic as ONE of the characters who lacks his own music in SSE.Yeah thats a possibility of what could have happened one day I'd like to ask Sakurai and the person who helped write (the same one who wrote Final Fantasy VII ) what they would have wrote had Sonic been added sooner, And yes the enemy at 3:01 is one of the most annoying ones and parts in the SSE.

    There wasn't any Wario music in SSE either.

    Maybe at one point after teaming up with Link and the rest, Mario could had got seperated and ends up meeting Sonic before reuniting with the others. Sonic would had joined them too...Or maybe he could revive Mario in Subspace and team up there...

    Yes I hate that enemy at 3:01! It really annoys me! Why the heck did they put it there??!!

  • that Sakurai regrets not being able to use Sonic sooner. By the way the guy at 3:01 (the enemy with the blades) is really annoying because of what he does at 3:03 in this stage thats all that enemy does and its really hard to get out of there and hard not to take a ton of damage and he can even get you through the wall. and it gets more annoying because after its damaged you a ton you're thrown around by the fire and other enemies up until you get to the door (if you can make it there).

  • Sakurai's good friends with the Metal gear creator which is probably why Metal gear music plays on one of the Halbred stages, he probably only would have used Kirby music otherwise, but anyways I do like playing as Sonic in the SSE, its like a weird Sonic game, but I still wonder what Sonic's role would have been had he been added earlier and still wished he had gotten a stage that would have suited his speed, I read on a forum from this one person that he read Sakurai regrets not *2bcont.*
